Fonzie forum - Commitments... why?

When you commit yourself to something -- or someone -- you have no idea what awaits you, you just have you and your expectations. You think it will always be like that. Sometimes you regret that after a while. As you all know I've been committing myself lately a lot, and it's eaten me up. Surely the commitment has given me great times. But in the end what has it all been worth it? It's just been another period of my life, and I'll have to find something else to commit to now. I just can't figure out how to do it anymore.

To the point, you guys can all guess that I'm pretty emotional about this. You know how much it's meant to me and such a big loss can not be replaced easily. Why must all good things come to an end? I don't know, but I do know that it sucks, cause this band has really made me feel awesome for all those years...

Yes, indeed, I'm not talking about Eveline. We're still rollin', don't worry :P
The commitment I'm talking about in this blog is rockband Lit. A.Jay's myspace reads: "Future of Lit: Unknown", and rumors are popping up that Lit will soon be spLit. Bassist Kevin has joined side project Good Man Down, but this doesn't seem to be "side"project anymore, it's rather becoming his main focus, and there seems to be no place for Lit anymore. Other than that, the band have been promising updates and new songs but none of that really happens. They were supposed to be in the studio recording new material but I guess something came in the way. Of course, these are all still rumors and it might be that they're just producing stuff on a delay, but I think the end of Lit has come. There are many good bands out there, but none will probably ever mean as much as Lit did to me.
