News - Cheating Statement

Due to the complicated and serious nature of this issue I will first begin with a summary of what happened.

A few days ago, Blue and Naisie played an official match against Grolsch for a small clan they are both in (pna). Although the war was not played under the fonzie tag or for the fonzie clan, one member of Grolsch came to our IRC channel. He informed us that he watched Blue's in-eye demo and concluded that he cheated.

At first, I wouldn't believe him (GrapeZ) and started yelling back. What else should I have done? Trust a stranger or someone I had known for over half a year? Even so, insulting them back wasn't very smart of me.

Then, yesterday, Fried approached me. He had also watched the demo and came to the conclusion Blue indeed used a wallhack. Due to the fact that Fried has some knowledge in this area I immediatly informed other fonzie members and we all watched the demo (some with a temporarily installed wallhack to see if it was more obvious that way).

We *all* came to the conclusion a wallhack was used by Blue during that war. After this, Infinity and I confronted Blue and informed him of what happened. Although he quietly told us that he did not cheat, we didn't believe him.

Let it be clear we didn't come to this decision lightly. For me, at least, it was hard accepting the fact he did cheat. As said before, I, along with many others, couldn't believe he cheated until we saw it ourselves.

And so, after some hours of discussion, Infinity and I decided it was best for Fonzie and Blue to go our seperate ways. Even though he didn't cheat under our tag we *cannot* allow any people in our clan who use cheats in order to win a game.

Last, I would like to give my sincere apologies to anyone I, and anyone else from fonzie, insulted during the last few days (especially GrapeZ from Grolsch). I hope you can understand that we didn't believe it because we had known Blue for more then six months and have met him in real life. This didn't make it very easy for us.

I hope that with this statement I have informed everyone enough. Please try to keep your comments clean.

Mja, ik was benieuwd waar al die commotie nou over ging,
dus vroeg ik of ik ook de demo mocht bekijken, dat mocht...
Ik heb toen even op i-net gezocht naar een wallhack,
om mee naar de demo te kijken, m\'n mond viel open van verbazing toen ik tot de conclusie moest komen, dat
Blue weldegelijk wallhack heeft gebruikt in die match
van pna tegen grolsch-cs, toen heb ik met de moed
in m\'n schoenen, gare gesproken, en door gegeven
dat er weldegelijk het een en ander niet klopte,
aan Blue in de demo. Jammer Blue, ik hoop voor jou,
dat het een eenmalig avontuur was en dat je voortaan
cs en de mensen wat serieuzer neemt en de wedstrijd aangaat,
met je eigen skills, jammer en zonde, succes #fonzie!
