This post is to notify you on some of the upcoming Fonzie Events for some of us. The first 'meeting' will begin on july 22rd. Starting from this day, we will spend 9 full days developing a script movie for #fonzie. The script for this movie has already gone through several drafts and is currently, with 6 pages, in it's final version. The script was written entirely from scratch by Gare Gast & Octavius.
I'm currently working on the movie sets (in other words: the maps). We hope to prepare as much as we can before the actual filming and recording starts. The first thing we will do is record all the voices (scenes) and check out how long they are. Then we will film every scene (yes, we need you to help us!) using HLTV and 'spectator-cams'. This will not be an easy operation, certainly not for just 9 days. But I'm confident we'll manage to create something 
.
Before filming nobody will tell anything about the script. During filming we do need some assistence from a few people (to walk around, shoot, or whatever your task is). This will of course let you know some parts of the script, but we hope to keep the most important parts a secret by using as few people as possible. Next to that, you'll never hear any of the voice recordings before the actual release, so it will be difficult to guess the full story.
Ok enough movie talk . We hope to have it completed around the 31st of July.
The second Lan party (which will be attended by: Sur5or, Gare Gast, Octavius, Infinity, Dominator, Impulse & Vito) will take place on 8, 9 and the 10th of August. Final details are currently worked out on the forum.
I recently bought a new switch (mainly for lans just like this
), so we will have a fast network with enough ports. Infinity and I will arrange for at least one gameserver (CS) and an MP3 server where everybody can add music they like to the playlist. With the exception of one pair of speakers for the MP3 server, nobody will be allowed to bring their speakers. We want to keep the chaos to a minimum .
And finally: the total costs for this Lan will be at least 40 euros (we are still thinking about the precise amount). It will be somewhat higher then previous lans, due to the fact that this lan is 3 days long & we have to eat at Sur5or uncle's restaurant.
Hopefully this (long ) news post has cleared up some of the details about the upcoming fonzie events. Happy vacation & I'll see some of you soon!

Ja maar er moet voor 2 dagen avond eten, 2 dagen ontbijt & lunch + snacks & heleboel drinken + die keer uit eten. Das niet niets.
Film is cool idee! zeker, moet het een serieuze film worden? bedoel 1tje van minstens 3 kwartier ofzo? (zoals millitia movie)
Wil wel beetje de actuer uithangen als er mensjes nodig zijn hoor, paar n00b kills tussendoor.. je hebt me adres

Hehehe...het is een 'serieuze' film, maar echt niet van 30 minuten. Ik denk iets van 10 minuten. Het acteer werk wat we nodig hebben zijn een boel 'anonymous' guards. Als je mee wilt doen, wees gewoon actief in #fonzie vanaf 23 juli tot 26 juli (woensdag tot zaterdag). We zullen daar roepen wanneer we mensen nodig hebben die taken uitvoeren. Dit kan betekenen dat je een lange tijd (je moet echt willen!) rond moet lopen met een gun (bv een 15 minuten hetzelfde ronde lopen, of langer). Dit is natuurluk nodig voor verschillende takes etc. Je krijgt gewoon een taak, bv, jij wordt door die gast neergeschoten op die plek. Dan moet je dat vast een paar keer doen, maar je krijgt wel insight alvast in de movie. Doen als je zin heb, maar we kunnen alle hulp gebruiken. Iedereen die helpt, hoe klein je bijdrage ook is, komt in de credits. We zullen em naar verschillende grote CS sites submitten (hopelijk ook CSNation, komt vast wel een linkje op), dus je wordt wereld beroemd
