News - Happy Birthday Sysad

There is someone that has always served us as a group almost since the beginning of Fonzie. Since I don't think most of you really take notice of this it seems fitting that on his 25th birthday we take some time to congratulate and remember what he's given us the past few years.

From the moment Fonzie went online (with the Fonzie Forum) there is one place where we can go for our daily news/blogs/forum/fun: helena.mired.nl (previously matthijs.tux.nu). For years now we've had almost limitless bandwidth and alot of disk space to our disposal. We've run a forum, a website, hosted multiple large movies and other files, ran a Ventrilo server, a shoutcast broadcasting server and even a HLDS Counter-Strike server for a few months. Even though all this has caused two major break ins in his server over the years, we've never had any real complaints and it's all been for free.

Happy Birthday Matthijs, and thank you for giving us this space all these years!
