News - End of Warteam

A couple of months ago the idea was brought up to finally start playing ClanBase matches. In order to do this we formed a warteam composed of members from both Fonzie and W32.

The team started off pretty good, although the new additions to the war team (Incubus and Furious) almost never played. With nine members we managed to play 27 clanbase wars in just 1.5 months. The last few wars, unfortunatly, didn't go so well. We had alot of trouble finding members willing and/or available to play. Also, there were often alot of personal problems and arguments within the team. Because of this, it was decided that from now on, May 12th, the W32/Fonzie war squad will call it quits. Some people have expressed interest in joining up with other clans.

Alot of (inactive) members have recently been worried about the future of Fonzie as a community. It seems people are worried about the group falling apart because of people stopping with Counter-Strike. As far as we can tell, that won't happen.

Infinity has been working on a new Fonzie site. It's aimed to be more of a Community site rather then games based. Next to gaming, some members of Fonzie have been actively working on various projects. These projects include GotWar, GotRank and of course Pandora's Box II. To keep the community together, Infinity's new site will be focussed on these (future) projects and their creators.

I want new clan --> Serious gaming...

Mja... Vind het eerlijk gezegd geen zak meer aan is denk het beste zo... Was leuk zolang het duurde etc heb tog wel paar leuke wars gespeeld...

ben van plan te stoppen met het hele cs-gebeuren.. iig tijdelijk maybe af en toe funnen is nog wel leuk verder niets serieus meer

Misschien speel ik af en toe nog wel ff CS maar op het moment heb ik er gewoon echt genoeg van. Ik speel al bijna weken niet meer en is mis het echt niet. Dus ik stop er gewoon finaal mee...ach en als er leuke update uitkomt check ik em misschien nog wel een keertje Anders gewoon --> HL2. Schiet op zomer !

net als sjeek ga ik clanhoeren

van uit elkaar vallen is geen sprake.. iedereen gaat gewoon andere kant op (social/cs), maar we blijven gewoon bij elkaar!

Ik zal op IRC blijven komen en af en toe een potje cs en CU@Belgie-LAN (w32+fonzie)
