News - I-view with SlytraX

I’m talking to Stefan Grift also known as SlyTraX.

Can you tell us something about yourself?
Well, my real name is Stefan Grift, kind of dorky for a gamers-name, so my “real” friends call me Sly or Slaaj. I’m 17 years old and still @ school. I am still single but that doesn’t bother me at all, gives me more time for my greatest hobby: Counter-Strike !!!

When did you start playing counter-strike?
I started to play CS about 2 years ago. It was version 1.4 back then, but after my first month there was a new update 1.5 available. I played a lot on Public Servers and got pretty skilled. And after 5 months playing I joined my first “real” clan w32.Nimda.Force.

How did you play in the beginning, good or bad?
Well, I did not have an extreme 1337 aim when I just started. But I had some advantage on the way of moving through certain area’s and a pretty fast reaction time. Because I played about a half year Return to Castle Wolfstein, which was just for fun and it did help me get some experience. But before I got to Wolfstein and CS, I played First-Person-Shooters on my console all of the time, such as James Bond: Golden Eye and Perfect Dark. I learned the whole CS-game pretty fast and I am still working hard to get even better then I am now.

We will see you @ campzone this year and if so can you tell us something about the LAN in open air?
It’s probably the best thing after Sex and “Making an Ace in a CPL-final vs. SK.swe”. You just have a great time with friends… Gaming, leeching, watching p0rn. All the basic things you need to do at a LAN. It’s just 12 days of fun, fun, fun (and porn)!!

What is your favourite cartoon?
I like this type of Question. I don’t really have ONE favorite cartoon, but I like “I am Weasel” because of the Bab00n (IR). IR Baboon is my #1 Cartoon-Character.

Pop or Rock?
Rock, definitely. I don’t need pop. Hmz, I like K3 and M-Kids though.

Snuble or Pikachu?
This is a hard one… I’ll go for Pikachu, because Snuble is one of those pokemon from the new series and I think the new series are CRAP!

Gaming or Dating?
Another hard one… Dating it is, because if I said Gaming you’ll get the impression I’m a f*cking addict.

Friends or Partners?
Hmz… Clanmates? I’ll go for Friends... They support me in hard times.


How did you come in contact with Fonzie?
I guess my mate Impulse introduced me. I did see those guys at my #1 favorite Public Server back then, Uithof 24/7 CS !! But when #w32 got serious we chatted more often and that way we became friends.

How is your time this far in fonzie, you made friendships?
Fonzie “Roxxxors in their Boxxxors”. I like all of those guys. We went to the cinema once and had a great time. Guere (aka GareGast) is a great “chat-mate”, when I’m feeling lonely and start to type song-texts in the channel, he usually says something like “OMG!” or “Shut up!” or “…..”. The rest is definitely okay (I guess).

Are you a real party animal, and what do you like to do then?
Of course I am… I like to make Human Towers in CS, or jump of the bridge in de_aztec. Nick laming is also a fun thing to do and team-attacking is great fun! Non-cyber-party’s are fun too I guess. “Chilling with my Homey’s”. Hanging with the #w32.Nimda.People, watching movies, drinking a lot. We make a lot of fun together.

Something else you want to share with us?
I think this whole I-view thing is great… My English might be bad sometimes, but I guess it’s okay. Further I would like to say, that it is great to be a #Fonzie !! And I am looking forward to see Pandora’s Box II. And you could deposit some money at my Bank-Account instead of just thanking me. To infinity and Beyond !!!
